Colour Block Bathroom Ideas
One real bathroom in a two-tone colour block, no fixtures moved.
BeforeColour block is the most restrained look in this set: pink walls, one coral band drawn straight across at eye level, white vertical tile around the tub, and a white fluted vanity that glows from an LED strip underneath. No pattern, no ornament, just two flat colours meeting on a clean line. It is the kind of thing you could paint over a weekend, which is most of its appeal.
The colour block look, in one real bathroom

Colour Block Pastel
Pink walls with one coral-orange band ruled across them, white vertical tile around the tub, and a white fluted vanity lit from below by a warm LED strip. The fittings stay white so nothing competes with the two colours. The socket is still on the tile by the sink. This is the rare bathroom look that is genuinely mostly paint and a length of LED tape, so it lands close to the render without a builder.

Questions
- Is colour block really just two colours?
- Essentially, yes, and that is the discipline of it. Two flat colours meeting on one clean line, with the fittings kept neutral so nothing muddies the join. Add a third colour or a pattern and it stops being colour block and becomes something busier.
- How do I pick where the band goes?
- That is the real decision. The render runs it at roughly eye level, above the tile and behind the mirror, which is a safe default. But your socket, window and mirror heights all pull on it, and getting the line to sit right around them is exactly what a render on your own room helps you judge.
- Can I do this in a rental?
- More easily than almost anything else here. It is paint, and paint comes off. The LED strip under the vanity peels away too. Nothing in this look needs a tiler or a landlord conversation.
- Do I need the LED strip under the vanity?
- No, but it is doing more than you would think. The warm glow softens the pink and makes a floating vanity look like it is hovering. It is cheap to add and easy to skip if you want the flatter, daylight version.
